Vacation is here!

February is here and Dan is on vacation!  We are pretty excited to have two weeks of fun even if it is in February.  Dan is pretty low in seniority so these past years we have had vacations in January and February.  We don't let the snow and cold from a Midwest winter keep us down though.

On Saturday Dawson had a basketball game.   He made his second shot ever and was so proud of himself.  After the game we came home and worked on the kids' Valentine boxes and treats for their class.  We always have fun creating Valentine boxes.  This year we did not use glitter glue but Emma enjoyed all kinds of colored feathers.

Saturday night we watched movies together and had our favorite movie snack, popcorn with m&m's.  Sunday morning we were all up and off to church on time.  It was amazing!  We had brunch together at Cracker Barrel which is Dan and Emma's favorite breakfast place.  I always think that it is a little stressful eating out with three kids.  I feel like I need to hurry and eat because at any moment one of the kids are going to be done.  We all enjoyed our brunch though.  Sunday afternoon I took Dawson and Emma to see Star Wars in 3D.  Dawson had been wanting to go pretty bad.  We all put our Star Wars shirts on and had a blast together.

We ended our fun Sunday with Just Dance 2 and lasagna for dinner.  Here is a little video of Dawson and Emma busting a move.
